Groqnotes is a Streamlit-based application that builds structured lecture notes by iteratively parsing and generating notes extracted from transcribed audio lectures. The application uses a mix of Llama3-8b and Llama3-70b models, using the larger model to generate note structure and the faster model to create content. Key benefits of Groqnotes include quickly transcribing audio and generating text, as well as balancing speed and quality by strategically switching between the two models. In addition, it supports Markdown style to create beautiful notes, including tables and codes, in the Streamlit application, and allows users to download text or PDF files containing the entire note content.
